Meta-Architect is a workflow layer. Your AI agent still writes and edits the code. Meta-Architect decides what should happen next and checks whether the result is ready to move forward.
The loop
- Inspect the project and current state.
- Choose the next safe action from the evidence already available.
- Execute the owning lane.
- Verify files, tests, and required checks.
- Record the decision and evidence in
.ma/.
Maestro repeats this loop. You do not need to remember a lane sequence.
What it does not do
Meta-Architect does not replace your editor, model, terminal, or deployment platform. It also does not silently bypass a failed check. When an action needs credentials, approval, destructive changes, or deployment access, it stops with an explicit reason.
